Strong side stripe!

To anyone that follows me on Instagram my feed sure isn’t shy of a few side stripes. The sports luxe trend seems to be staying around and I’m 100% okay with that. There doesn’t seem to be a pair of trousers I see these days without some sort of contrast stripe and I’m trying not to buy every pair I see.

I love red and I’m always styling it with an all black outfit. This isn’t my usual hoodie as its really a sweater dress so I styled it with a pair of faux leather leggings both from zara of course! My beloved puma creepers were a no brainer they just instantly make everything more edgy and cool, am I right!

The setting for this look isn’t as exciting as my last as it was just shot outside my house, hence why my dog makes an appearance. Also while I’m writing this I’m watching the second season of Stranger Things which I’m completely hooked too! I mean who isn’t! Hope everyone is having a spooky Halloween and I’ll see ya real soon.

Autumn is here!

 

Well folks its Autumn, The fall is here, summer has gone and past. Time to bring out the cosy jumpers the sherling jackets, the over the knee boots. I shot this look in a beautiful walled garden up the road from me which I didn’t even know existed. It definitely helped capture the autumnal vibes and I hope you like the outcome of these photos as much as I do.

I’ve got to say autumn is definitely my favourite time of year there’s just something about the leaves changing colour, the ground being covered in them. Being able to wrap up warm in your favourite cosy sweater and layers layers guys!  Now I may be still in a t-shirt the temperatures have been surprisingly warm for this time of year so I’m glad I got to wear this biker vest before it really does get cold with this parody chanel t-shirt which is right up my street.

But can we talk about the star of this outfit the £14 boots I nagged from Primark! Yes you heard me right! Everything from the ring zip detailing the rich ox blood colour and chunky heel (I love my chunky heels) I had to bring them home with me.

So bring on the colder weather so I can actually wear my cosy knits and beanies without getting too warm ha! And then before you know it’ll be CHRISTMAS!!! Yikes!!!

Do whatever you want!

A pretty casual look for today’s post but I couldn’t wait to wear this baby blue number that I purchased from a clothing brand called Rain supply. They haven’t been running for long but I’m all about authentic designs and supporting local brands. This one in particular I found out about through the founder Dani who is the drummer of one of my favourite bands Neck Deep.

Since most of my t-shirt’s are either black or white it was really refreshing to have this baby blue and yellow number join my collection and makes the perfect accompany to an all-black outfit. I love a good slogan tee especially if I love what it says. Do whatever you want is the running theme and slogan for the brand itself and I solely stand by this as a person.

I see far too many people make a decision, pick a Uni course just because they felt like they had to or because they felt pressured by someone or something or just followed the crowd.

Do what YOU want to do, not what anyone else tells you to. It’s your life and I can’t preach enough how important it is to do something that makes you happy and you enjoy. As cliché as it may sound we only get one life and we must make the most of it and find whatever it is we want to do and do it. Be that person that decided to take a chance and just go for it!!
